Einstein's Sesame Seed Bagel with Jalapeno Salsa Spread

I’ve had savory, and I’ve had sweet, so it was time to try spicy. Today’s bagel was a sesame seed with jalapeño salsa schmear. This bad boy of bagels had a pretty significant amount of heat, which I personally enjoyed. The schmear was spicy, but it also wasn’t so spicy that all the flavor was lost; it still had a strong salsa vibe. The spread was definitely the star of the show, but it was a little overpowering to the bagel itself, especially the sesame seeds which were practically nonexistent. All-in-all, I was very pleased with this bagel, but I still haven’t found a replacement for my first love: that everything with plain cream cheese. In any case, this has been Marston’s Bagel Blog: providing you with quality bagel content since 2020.
